It was a cloudy and very chilly day but the laughter and energy that Kendra brought to the shoot definitely made me forget just how cold it was. Kendra is beautiful and vibrant...and a trooper with the cold! She is also the owner of a chic boutique in downtown Libertyville called the Serendipity Shop. Along with her Mom and Grandma, they run the shop from Tuesday through Saturday with new inventory coming in all the time. The shop is beautifully laid out, cozy and they carry not only clothes but shoes, bags, notebooks, mugs, trinket dishes and jewelry most of which they themselves make! The styling has a youthful and chic vibe reminiscent of California cool, and the jewelry they make reminds me of pieces from Anthropologie with the vintage touch and yet they are uniquely their own.
I fell in love with their inventory and believe in what they do and what they bring to the community. It is an honor to work with them on creating images for their fall look book. I'm definitely looking forward to keep working with them on photo projects!
